Stinky Hummus
I perfected this hummus recipe during my vegan phase. The hummus doesn't stink, but your breath will!
1/4 C tahini
1 t dark sesame oil
1/4 C fresh lime juice
1 t salt
2 cloves pressed garlic
1 can garbanzo beans, drained (reserve the liquid)
1/4 C chopped black olives (optional)
3 T finely chopped fresh parsley
Combine 1/4 C bean liquid and all ingredients, except parsley, in a blender. Blend till smooth, adding additional bean liquid if necessary. Spoon into a bowl and stir in parsley.
Serve with bread, tortilla chips, or carrot sticks.

Surely you cannot call this perfection. If you reconstitute your own chickpeas, the taste is far improved. Plus, how dare you use sesame oil? Garlic - yes. Tahini - yes. Lemon juice - yes. Salt - yes. Cumin - yes. Olive oil - yes.
