A Poor Excuse for a Post
I made roman shades for my dining room last February. I was quite pleased with myself, but thought the shades needed a little more “oomph.” Over the course of the past two evenings, I tacked fringe onto the bottom. Now they are complete.
(This project is so minor that it doesn’t really even warrant a posting. I just wanted to show everyone how cute Mr. Tibbs is when sleeping in my sewing basket!)

Whoa! A pick-axe, chainsaw AND a sewing basket. You are truly a woman to be reckoned with! Do you wash windows?
I haven't personally wielded a chain saw. I was too afraid of lopping of a limb (and I don't mean a tree limb).
Definitely worthy of a post! Great shades and adorable kitty = perfect post to me!
I think you are wrong, I think Roman Shades are something to brag about.
Very nice!
And 'Hello' to Mr. Tibbs.
Those shades rock - and with the fringe? Super rockin'.
Your cat is so cute relaxing in the sewing basket!
We have roman shades in that exact fabric in our ca. 1930 bungalow! (Inherited from the previous owners, though, as I'm not yet that crafty). Our cats would not be sleeping in the sewing basket, however; they'd be attacking the fringe. So, as nice as it looks, I don't think there's fringe in our future. :)

I like the fringe....niiice
I was so busy admiring your shades that I didn't even see Mr. Tibbs! Thanks for pointing him out. My kitty does that same thing.
