My Favorite Spot, August 11th

This week, the spot I’ve seen the most of happens to be my desk at work. No one wants to see a picture of that (and I’d probably violate 57 security rules if I posted one). My views of the garden have all been in the twighlight or rain, so nothing there has struck me as this week's "favorite." *Sigh* I'm favorite-less,

Instead, will you tell me about your favorite spot in the garden?

Not a flower, I know, but my favotie has to be our garden with the tomato plants. We're picking 10+ a day off our three plants and I'm making 3 batches a week of tomato sauce for the freezer. It's divine and makes me smile each time I see more of those red globes each time I go outside.

My favorite spot-
I have a peach tree that just decided it would grow right under the fence. It towers over my peonies which I have planted my beautiful birdbath in the middle of. Birds love to perch there over the water, and I have a feeder hanging nearby. I love that little vignette. Regrettably, the peach is 12 feet tall, I will have to move it in a month or 2, since its in the fence. I hope it lives.

Current favorite spot... edge of the vegetable where I can stand as the sun sets and survey it all. It's the place I stand to take pictures of it for my blog. Second favorite place... the Hammock.

All work and no play, makes for a sad gardener!

My favorite spot is the ugliest spot in my yard. It's behind my shed. After years of despairing about ever making it look better, I finally got the bright idea of making it into a woodland walk with a little path and ferns and woodland plants (it's very shady). I've started to clear out the weeds and poison ivy and will start buying plants soon and stepping stones. I like to look at it now and think about how attractive it's going to look.
